Milestone Packets are a rich resource of information for parents and children who are preparing to transition between services. The packets serve as a starting point for parents to obtain information on a wide range of topics. While the content of each packet varies depending on the age of the child, each packet includes a number of age-appropriate scenarios to help guide decision making, as well as publications from various agencies and organizations including the National Consortium on Deaf-Blindness, The Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities, and the Ohio Department of Education. These packets are also made available to teachers and intervention specialists by request. Milestone Packets are available in the following age groups:
